Clip 1: Episode opens with Greg Arkin up in a tree watching Lana through her bedroom window. Lana sees a box on her bed, opens the box, and butterflies come out of the box and fly around her room. Greg is videotaping her. He leaves, goes back home and his mother confronts him about all of the video tapes he has of Lana. In Greg's room, we see lots of collections of various insects. He gets fed up with his mother and decides to leave, taking his bug collection. While driving down the road, some insects get loose and start biting Greg. He wrecks his vehicle. Scene ends with his mother going to his room to try to find him and leaves, while Greg is up on the ceiling watching.

Clip 2: Opening credits. Clark is dreaming that he is levitating above Lana and then wakes up. He falls on the bed and breaks it down. Clark, Martha, and Jonathan head over to the farmer's market to sell some of their organic products. Lex shows up and talks with Clark. Whitney and Lana are also there. Whitney warns Greg to stay away from Lana.

Clip 3: Whitney is driving down a road in his truck. Greg makes him wreck his truck and it catches fire. Jonathan, Martha, and Clark are driving on the same road and see the wrecked vehicle. Clark saves Whitney just in time before his truck explodes. Back on the farm, Clark lets Jonathan know that he is scared of what just happened as he is discovering new abilities all the time. Clip cuts to Lex putting Lana's necklace (the necklace he found in the cornfield in the Pilot episode) in a box. Lex goes to talk to Lana at a horse stable.

Clip 4: Greg's mother comes home to find the temperature set to 103 degrees. She looks around, finds Greg and he kills her. Clark goes to see Lex and he gives Clark the box that contains Lana's necklace.

Clip 5: Lana confronts Whitney at school about her necklace. She leaves upset and runs into Greg in the hallway who questions whether or not she forgot about helping him with his English paper. He gets mad when she tells him that something more important came up. Clark is back at the farm looking at the meteor rock necklace. Lana meets him in the barn for a brief conversation. Clark is contemplating on whether or not to tell her what happened and whether or not he should be the one to give her back her necklace. Scene cuts to Greg in the shower peeling off his skin.

Clip 6: Jonathan is working in the barn and Clark asks if he needs help. Greg makes an attack in the barn. Martha comes to the barn and is comforting Jonathan. Scene ends with Jonathan telling Clark that no matter how many special gifts he has, he’ll never be able to change what happened to Lana’s parents.

Clip 7: Clark and Chloe are at school trying to figure out what happened to Greg. Clark, Chloe and Pete go to Greg's house to see if they can find any clues. Chloe finds an unlocked window and they go in and find all of the skin in the shower. Chloe finds the tapes of Lana while Clark finds Greg’s dead mother in some type of cocoon. Lana is in the barn feeding horses when Whitney comes to pay her a visit. Greg shows up and pushes Whitney unconscious into a stable. Greg takes Lana while Clark arrives a little late and finds Whitney in the stable. Whitney tells Clark that Greg took Lana and Clark thinks that he knows where Greg might have taken her. The guys head off to the Creekside Foundry separate. Whitney drives his truck and Clark runs at super speed to beat Whitney. Clark gets to the area and looks up to see a tree house.

Clip 8: Clark enters the tree house to find Lana laying there in some type of sheer cocoon. Greg runs into an old warehouse filled with the meteor rocks. Clark manages to defeat Greg who meets with an untimely death. He accidentally gets squished like a bug. Unfortunately for Clark he doesn't make it back in time to rescue Lana from the cocoon, but Whitney does. Clark decides to give the meteor rock necklace back to Lana. Clark puts it on her doorknob and runs away at super speed. Even though he knows he will cause him a major problem in getting closer to Lana, he realizes how important the necklace is to her. He looks on as she finds the necklace and smiles.
